At Charis it is our goal with every summer camp to create a safe, exciting, and accessible place for young people to learn about our God and to have the most awesome time possible while doing it. To this end we endeavour every year to put together and train a top-notch staff who are passionate about God and helping their campers to learn more about Him. From there we have a plethora of exciting activities (like a 4 story climbing wall) and wild games and events to have a blast, get to know each other better and most importantly, learn about Jesus and the unbeatable life that he is calling you to live.



If you’ve never been to camp before, here’s a little sneak peek at what you can expect from a day in the life at camp:



You wake up in the morning on your first day and head over to the dining hall for breakfast. It may be pancakes, or eggs, or maybe French toast and bacon, but whatever it is, it’ll be delicious. After you’ve stuffed yourself as full as you’d like to be you head with your cabin to the chapel to sing songs, be challenged and inspired, and to learn more about who God is. After that it’s off to an activity; archery, climbing on our 4 story climbing wall, playing in the woods, swimming at the pool… you just never know! Then it’s off to the dining hall for another amazing meal and back out for some wild, crazy and just plain fun games and activities. You just never know what the staff have planned for you! The afternoon: more activities, more games, more friends and laughs and memories. Once you’re too exhausted from fun to stand, take a trip to the Tuck shop and get some candy and go crazy some more. After Dinner it’s back up to the chapel or some more worship, praise and challenging words from our week’s speaker. After dinner is more games, and some time by the fire singing songs and sharing stories and enjoying all the beautiful creation that God has to offer us! After it’s good and late enough it’s off to bed to hang out with your friends in the cabin and share stories, memories and jokes, then go to sleep for another awesome filled day to come. You never know though, there may be a surprise in the night…
