By the grace of God, Charis Camp is a beautiful place with excellent facilities, but we believe that the strength of these things is also based on a passionate and dedicated staff. Charis camp is blessed to have amazing staff who are here to make your experience everything that it could possibly be.

Darren Duncalfe is the Executive Director, making sure the staff are motivated, focused, and effective and that the camp maintains its mission and direction. John Loosdrecht is the Operations Auditor and makes sure all the day to day operations of the camp run smoothly. Clarinda Herfst is our Office Director and chances are if you call in, you will get her on the phone. She is always ready and happy to help you get your group booked in and help you know what you need to know before you show up on site. In the office alongside Clarinda is Leanne Barthell, our Book Keeper. Our Site Maintenance Technician, Jordan Rempel is in charge of ensuring that all of the facilities are not only in working order, but also look beautiful and are useful to you, our guests. Brian Piccioni is the Program Director, his job is to plan our camps, events, outreaches, etc., and to help volunteers get connected with the camp and know where they can fit and to help people know what we are and what we do. Finally, the all important front lines of the camp: Cristel Koop hosts most of our groups, making sure you are comfortable and taken care of. She works alongside Tom Babcock, our Kitchen Director and his staff who plan, prepare and serve all of your delicious home-style meals.
